Kavod v'Nichum and Gamliel Institute provide resources, education, and training along the Jewish end-of-life continuum: from visiting the sick and pre-planning, to care for the body after death, to providing comfort to the mourners.

Acknowledgements

The Jewish Funeral, Burial, and Mourning website (continuously operating since 1998), migrated at the start of 2019 from Drupal to WordPress, requiring a significant overhaul and rewrite of content. This page acknowledges those who made this possible.

Social Media Team

  • Rick Light – coordinated transition to the new website, created new content, organized placement and layout of content
  • David Zinner – worked with Rick to edit and enhance web page content, ensure consistency and an ergonomical presentation
  • Kerry Swartz – mastered WordPress, designed templates and new look/feel of website home page and interior pages, developed and integrated registration for conferences and courses
  • Rabbi Joe Blair – managed and directed the blog content and (with Kerry) how media pages are integrated with the new site
