Center City Philadelphia is anchored by 8 square blocks of green space centered on Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The activity level in Center City is energizing – from horse and buggies to shopping, restaurants, museums and even the cemetery where Ben Franklin is buried. Amazingly, there are two prominent Jewish institutions in the middle of the mix – Congregation Mikveh Israel (CMI) (44 N 4th St, Philadelphia, PA 19106) founded in 1740, and the museum that spun off from the shul – the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH). And right next door to the shul is a Wyndham Hotel. View map of Conference 2013 – Philadelphia – Center City
